It includes coverage of probability and statistical methods primarily through practical examples. The training consists of approximately 30% lectures and 70% guided quizzes and lab sessions.

For open courses, a diverse range of examples is utilized.

While various software tools are employed throughout the course (ranging from Microsoft Excel to SPSS and Statgraphics), the primary emphasis remains on grasping the underlying principles and methodologies that guide research, reasoning, and conclusions.
