Online Ubuntu Training in the UAE

In a modern IT environment where agility and cost-effectiveness are paramount, transitioning to open-source infrastructure has shifted from being optional to becoming a strategic imperative. While your team may currently excel in Windows ecosystems, the lack of robust Linux capabilities hinders the deployment of scalable web applications and advanced storage architectures.

Our Solution: This intensive 5-Day Accelerated Program is crafted to close this capability gap. We go beyond teaching basic commands to evolve Windows-focused administrators into proficient Linux System Engineers. Upon completion, your team will be equipped to deploy secure web servers, oversee networked storage, and implement centralized identity management on Linux using Active Directory protocols.

By the conclusion of this training, participants will be able to:

• Deploy & Secure: Perform a from-scratch installation of Ubuntu Server and apply industry-standard SSH security measures.
• Manage Identity: (New) Configure and administer Active Directory services via Samba to centralize user accounts and authentication (LDAP).
• Automate: Develop Bash scripts to streamline repetitive maintenance workflows.
• Host: Deploy and sustain production-grade web servers (Apache/Nginx).

This instructor-led, live training in the UAE (online or onsite) is designed for system administrators who wish to utilize Ubuntu to set up and manage network devices, virtual machines, and containers within a secure, customizable, and user-friendly operating system.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Set up the necessary environment to manage network devices, virtual machines, and cloud images with Ubuntu.
• Understand the features and advantages of Ubuntu and the different variants.
• Configure network devices and security using bash and sudo shell commands.
• Use the technologies (such as OpenStack) and tools available in Ubuntu to manage virtualization and cloud containers.
• Learn how to set up and configure mail servers (Dovecot, Exim4, and Postfix) and web servers (Apache) in Ubuntu.
