This Enterprise Architect training course is tailored for individuals who want to utilize Sparx Systems' UML modeling tool, Enterprise Architect, for their modeling tasks but are not yet familiar with its features, functions, and usage.

Using a combination of lectures, demos, and interactive labs, this course showcases the foundations for building and maintaining an Enterprise Architecture (EA) utilizing the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) version 1.2.

The OCSMP Model Builder – Fundamental examination evaluates the knowledge and skills necessary for creating a basic SysML model of a system. The exam encompasses concepts and organization of models, capturing and managing fundamental requirements, structural and behavioral models, parametric modeling, allocation relationships, and the application of stereotypes. With this level of understanding along with proficiency in a suitable SysML modeling tool, an individual holding the OCSMP Model Builder – Fundamental Certification can effectively contribute to modeling tasks within a Systems Engineering team that utilizes model-based systems engineering methodologies using SysML. This certification serves as a prerequisite for the two advanced levels in the program and requires the OCSMP Model User Certification as its prerequisite.

This examination (along with others in the OCSMP series) assesses your capability to apply the knowledge and skills outlined here within the context of a system model. As you study, expand beyond individual diagrams to grasp how elements modeled in one can impact or influence aspects depicted in other diagram types.

In this instructor-led, live training in the UAE (online or onsite), participants will learn how to use SysML as implemented in Enterprise Architect (EA) to carry out system requirements analysis and modeling.

Lastly, we will discuss the current landscape of SysML modeling tools.

The workshop covers problem analysis, system design, and documentation using UML and Sparx Systems' Enterprise Architect. Lectures account for 10%, while hands-on workshops make up 90% of the session.
