About This Course
This course delves into three core aspects of Microsoft 365 enterprise administration: managing the Microsoft 365 tenant and services, overseeing Office 365 operations, and handling Microsoft 365 identity management. In the section on Microsoft 365 tenant and service management, you will explore all critical elements that need to be considered during the design phase of your Microsoft 365 tenant. After completing this planning stage, you will learn how to set up your Microsoft 365 tenant, including configuring organizational profiles, subscription options, component services, user accounts and licenses, and security groups. Additionally, you will gain knowledge on managing your tenant by setting up roles and monitoring the health and services of your tenant. With a solid foundation in place for your Microsoft 365 tenant, you will then focus on key elements of Office 365 management. This includes an overview of product functionalities such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Power Platform, additional resources, and device management. You will proceed to configure Office 365 with a primary emphasis on establishing client connectivity. Furthermore, you will learn how to manage deployments of Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (formerly known as Office 365 ProPlus), from user-driven installations to centralized rollouts. The course concludes this segment by teaching you how to set up Office Telemetry and Microsoft Analytics. Finally, the course provides an extensive examination of identity synchronization in Microsoft 365, with a focus on Azure Active Directory Connect. You will learn how to plan and implement Azure AD Connect, manage synchronized identities, and deploy password management solutions using multi-factor authentication and self-service password management within Microsoft 365. This section also covers the comprehensive process of implementing application and external access. You will discover how to add and manage applications in Azure Active Directory, including configuring multi-tenant applications. Additionally, you will learn about setting up Azure AD Application Proxy by installing and registering a connector, as well as publishing on-premises apps for remote access. Lastly, the course explores designing and managing solutions for external access, which includes licensing guidance for Azure AD B2B collaboration, creating collaborative users, and troubleshooting B2B collaborations.
