ONAP for Network Orchestration and Automation Training Course
ONAP (Open Networking Automation Platform) is an open-source platform designed for orchestrating and automating both physical and virtual network elements. Originating from OpenECOMP and Open-Orchestrator (Open-O), ONAP is overseen by The Linux Foundation.
In this instructor-led, live training session (held either online or on-site), participants will gain insights into using ONAP for the automation of networking services.

The curriculum also includes troubleshooting and advanced architectural topics. The aim is to make participants well-versed in the OpenStack ecosystem while equipping them with a solid foundation for further development and optimization of OpenStack-based cloud environments. The course covers all essential areas required to prepare for the OpenStack Administrator certification exam. Seventy-five percent of the training involves hands-on workshops conducted in an actual OpenStack training environment.
OpenStack Bootcamp Extended
35 HoursThis course provides an extensive training program on OpenStack, with the extended version of the OpenStack Bootcamp including additional exercises, troubleshooting sessions, and sample exam tasks. The supplementary content is highlighted in bold within the course outline. It begins with an introduction to the system, followed by hands-on workshops that offer practical knowledge for managing private clouds based on OpenStack. The curriculum also covers advanced topics such as architecture and troubleshooting. The primary objective of this course is to provide a thorough understanding of the OpenStack ecosystem and lay a solid foundation for further development and refinement of OpenStack environments. It encompasses all necessary topics required to successfully complete the Certificate OpenStack Administrator exam. Approximately 75% of the course involves hands-on workshops in an actual OpenStack training environment. Upon completion, participants will receive all materials and access to the training environment for self-study and practice exercises.
Customization Options
The full course is designed to last a minimum of five days. It can be shortened if certain topics are not pertinent to the customer's needs. For beginners, it is advisable to extend the course duration to six days or exclude some advanced topics to accommodate a slower pace. Additionally, the course can be expanded by one day to include sessions on OVN topics.
OpenStack and NFV (with OVN and OpenFlow)
21 HoursThis course offers an in-depth exploration of OpenStack networking. It begins with an introduction to OpenStack and its architecture, followed by explanations of key OpenStack projects such as Identity service (Keystone), Image service (Glance), Compute service (Nova), and Block storage (Cinder). This provides a comprehensive overview of the network environment within OpenStack, with particular emphasis on the Networking project (Neutron). The course also delves into virtual network infrastructure using the Open Virtual Network project, Open vSwitch, and OpenFlow. The training can be tailored to a two-day format, focusing on core elements pertinent to the customer’s needs. Additionally, the course can be expanded to cover administrative, design, networking, or troubleshooting aspects related to OpenStack deployments. Other underlying SDN solutions such as Linux Bridge or OvS can also be discussed.
P4 Programming
21 HoursThis instructor-led, live training in the UAE (online or onsite) is aimed at networking engineers and developers who wish to configure, execute and manage programmable networking resources using P4.
