The recommended strategy is to deploy Windows 10 as the base platform, after which new features will be delivered via Windows as a Service. Moving to Windows 10 is less costly and time-consuming compared to the upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7. In most cases, existing hardware and software are compatible with Windows 10.
