Requirements

Prospective students should ideally have at least one year of experience deploying and administering multiple SharePoint Server 2013 farms within large enterprise settings. Completion of Course 20339-1A: Planning and Administering Microsoft SharePoint 2016 is required, or candidates must demonstrate equivalent technical skills.

Before attending, students must possess the following competencies:

  • Minimum one year of experience translating business requirements into logical and physical technical designs.
  • Working knowledge of network design, including network security protocols.
  • Experience in software management within Windows Server 2012 R2 enterprise server or Windows Server 2016 environments.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing applications via native, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
  • Ability to administer Internet Information Services (IIS).
  • Expertise in configuring AD DS for authentication, authorization, and as a user store.
  • Capability to remotely manage applications using Windows PowerShell 2.0 or later.
  • Experience in connecting applications to SQL Server.
  • Ability to implement claims-based security.
