SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager with POPM Certification Training Course
Develop the skills needed to guide value delivery in a Lean enterprise — and learn the activities, tools, and mechanisms used for managing backlogs and programs — by becoming a SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). During this two-day course, participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of Agile Release Train (ART), how to deliver value, and how to effectively fulfill their role.
They will also learn how to apply Lean thinking in creating Epics, breaking them down into Features and Stories, planning and executing Iterations, and planning Program Increments. By the end, participants will understand the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture, learn how to effectively integrate the roles of Product Owner and Product Manager, and what is needed for continuous improvement of ART.
To fulfill the role of SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager, participants should be able to:
- Apply SAFe in a Lean enterprise
- Align SAFe Lean-Agile principles and values with PO/PM roles
- Collaborate with Lean Portfolio Management
- Discover continuous value through Program Increment planning
- Execute Program Increments and deliver continuous value
- Describe the Product Owner and Product Manager roles
- Create an action plan for their role

Practitioner in Agile Quality (PAQ) certification
21 HoursPAQ is a three-day experiential training program designed to prepare participants for their exam while enhancing practical skills that can be directly applied in their workplace.
The exam consists of a ‘hands-on’ evaluation where candidates are provided with a product backlog release, which includes user stories and related design documentation, along with a 'multi-drop' application containing defects. Candidates will receive clear instructions on the expectations for the practical portion of the assessment and will have the chance to produce the necessary work products. Each practical assessment will also include one or two scenario-based questions that require written responses (up to five questions in total), covering various competencies. These written answers, along with the responses to the product backlog release, will be evaluated by an independent assessor. The entire assessment lasts for 2.5 hours.
